"Change is inherently positive, as it offers us the opportunity for growth. It is not surprising that the 7th edition is the edition of change for WineUp Fair in Transylvania. This number is intrinsically linked to holistic thinking, profound meanings, and true wisdom.
Similar to 2015 when we introduced a completely new fair concept for Romania, with this edition, we embrace a new pioneering effort. In a necessary and bold move, we changed the fair's location to provide you with an extraordinary experience.
We are pleased to announce that starting with the 7th edition, Elania Resort will be the ideal stage for our new concept, elegantly combining wine tastings, spirit tastings, culinary shows, and exclusive gastronomic events.
The eclectic and elegant Elitis Events Center, with its own halls and terraces, allows us to develop the WineUp concept where wine has its modern and technologized space, ready to tell the producers' stories through video projections. Spirits will have their dedicated space to showcase their diversity.
Starting with this edition, gastronomic events will be spectacular, with invited chefs showcasing their skills and creativity using state-of-the-art kitchen resources.
In 2024, we aim to embrace transformative changes not only in the dynamic world of wine but also in the realm of spirits. We aim to support new trends and bring them closer to curious consumers. The wine and spirits industry is evolving, and we are at the forefront, ready to highlight interesting developments that will shape the future.
We invite you to join us in writing the story of 2024 at WineUp." - Ioana Bidian
Among the most notable changes is the addition of a new section dedicated to traditional Romanian alcoholic beverages and international spirits. Participants will have the opportunity to discover and taste a variety of local liqueurs and explore the richness of the international spirits offered in a framework that celebrates cultural diversity and traditions.
In addition to this, WineUp Fair aims to offer an unforgettable gastronomic experience, diversifying the WineUp in The City concept. Starting this year, thematic dinners, developed with invited chefs, will present exceptional culinary creations in perfect harmony with the selection of wines and alcoholic beverages.
"We are delighted to bring these new elements to WineUp Fair, offering participants the opportunity to explore and savor not only fine wines but also traditional Romanian beverages and quality international spirits. The new location, Elania Resort, probably the most elegant 5-star resort in Transylvania, is the ideal partner that allows us to evolve.
WineUp in the City, since its first edition, has been extraordinarily successful because, after the fair, participants had the opportunity to continue the evening with an exclusive dinner in the city. The advantages of changing the location are numerous, and one of them is the access to and use of a super-technologized kitchen; this year, the dinners will be even more spectacular. Invited chefs will b to unleash their imagination, and participants will be able to savor dishes and pairings exclusively available at WineUp.
With the seventh edition, WineUp becomes a complex and captivating event for all lovers of good taste," declared Ioana Bidian, the event organizer.
WineUp Fair in Transylvania will take place from April 5th to April 7th at Elania Resort, Cluj-Napoca. We invite the public to join this unique experience, where tradition, innovation, and good taste will blend in an authentic way.
