WINEUP® FAIR IN TRANSYLVANIA Cluj brings together the best wines and personalities recognized nationally and internationally.

During March 26-29 2015 will take place the first edition ofWINEUP® FAIR IN TRANSYLVANIA, an event that opens the door to the fascinating world of wine, making wine culture closer to professionals, enthusiasts and consumers.

Structured into several sections WINEUP® FAIR IN TRANSYLVANIA meet the demands of all visitors being designed as an integrated platform for interactive promotion, communication and education.

In the Casino building in Central Park, Cluj-Napoca, visitors can taste the wines of the best producers in Romania: Davino, Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu, Petro Vaselo, Avincis, Nachbil, Liliac, Oprișor, Gîrboiu, Gramma, Vinca, Ratesti, La Salina ,Villa Vinea; Gitana Winery from Moldova and also the international selection of Wines Happy importer.

WINEUP® FAIR IN TRANSYLVANIA "A cultural adventure"

One of the constant concerns of the organizers is to educate and attract a wider audience closer to the wine culture and gastronomy; Thus, during the fair there will be organized lectures and master classes, various communication workshops and related events.

MASTERCLASS WINEUP® the second section of the fair will take place in the Chios restaurant and bring to the public attention a selection of champagne and wines, presented by internationally and national recognized personalities:

Martina Illek - Moet & Hennessy Brand Ambassador invites you to enter the world of champagne "Moët & Chandon The Worlds Most Loved Champagne " tasting: Moet Brut Imperial, Moet Rose Imperial, Moet Nectar Imperial, Moet Blanc Vintage, Vintage Moet Rose

Caroline Gilby - Master of Wine UK, which in recent years has closely studied the wines of Eastern Europe and implicitly of Romania presents "The New Face of Romanian Wine and Its Place in the World of Wine", the wines tasted representing a selection of her favorite romanian wines.

Luca Maroni: The author of "Yearbook of the best Italian wines" presents its own tasting method with a selection of Italian wines "Piacevolezza del vino". Last year together with Marius Iosif, his assistant, they presented the first edition of Yearbook of the best Romanian wines.

Valeriu Cotea, professor at the USAMV and Chairman of the OIV Oenology department will present the technologies for obtaining special wines "From special technologies to special wines' tasting dessert wines, port wines, sherry and Marsala

Kormos Zoltan has level 3 WSET degree will clarify concepts like: pearls, sparkling, champagne, prossecco, Cava, Sekt in a tasting comparative "Journey into world of sparkling wines "

Ioana Bidian Micu, Artvinium’s founder, organizer of Wine Up Fair in Transylvania, with 15 years experience in the wine field presents "Wines of Transylvania", an overview of the history, traditions, varieties and flavors of Transylvania.

WINEUP® FAIR FOR YOUTH, initiation courses in tasting, dining and culinary wine pairing, events that appear as a project in Cluj-Napoca European Youth Capital 2015 takes place at City Hall Plaza Venice. Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted and to taste Wine UP wine selection.

WINEUP® in collaboration with Ciorchin Association initiates two product photography workshops with the themes: "3 bottles in three stories," "Wine and cuisine", presented by Radu Salcudean.
